1Who can participate?

The challenge is open to individuals from 11-35 years old Pan-India. You can register as an individual or as group to participate in the challenge. There are five categories where you can register as:

  1. Individual
  2. Sschool / Youth Group / ECO - Clubs / Rural Youth
  3. National Cadet Corps
  4. Corporates
  5. Special Groups

  2. Sign up by clicking on Register now (Registration Link)
  3. Choose your category
  4. Fill registration form
  5. Start the challenge
3How will I proceed with the challenge activities?

Every participant will have access to a personal dashboard and will receive updates on their registered email address. Once a level is completed, the participant can upload the evidence on their dashboard and start with the next level.

4How many levels are there in the TTPC?

There are 3 levels:

  1. Entry Level (Knowledge)
  2. Leader Level (Action)
  3. Champion Level (Advocacy)
5How can I get oriented on the challenge?

The participant can reach out to their implementing partner at tideturner@ceeindia.org (CEE) or tideturner@wwfindia.net (WWF) and Schedule an orientation session according to the availability.

6Who is organizing this challenge?

UN Environment Programme’s Tide Turners Plastic Challenge is being implemented by WWF India and Centre for Environment Education in India.

7Why should I participate in the challenge?

The Tide Turners Plastic Challenge is a global youth movement to fight plastic pollution around the world. It is designed to inspire young adults to reflect upon their plastic consumption, discover solutions to reduce this consumption and lead change in their homes, communities and institutions.
